Review: One More Chance by Abbi Glines via Goodreads

One More ChanceOne More Chance by Abbi Glines
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

4,5-Glad for another chance- Stars!!

description

First book made me not like Grant as much as I used to. Almost...But I am glad that I gave this series another chance. In this book my Grant is back.
The best part about this book is Nan is not everywhere and I can tolerate her existence in this book. Sorry but I really dont like that girl. At all. But after this book I can tolerate her.

If you wake up and this is a dream, call me. I'll come running. I swear.

This book starts with emotional voice mails. I really like listening those voice mails, actually. They made me like Grant again.

Grant and Harlow are perfect together. I love their relationship. But their fears because of what may happen. Grant's fear of losing his happiness but still trying to make the right thing is so emotional and so sweet at the same time.

Harlow's determination and strength made me proud of her. But her letters...God they were really heart-breaking. The idea of those letters were overwhelming.

This book is like a fairytale with some emotional difficulties. But I loved listening every second of it.

If you are not sure about reading this book after the first book of Grant's, you can give this a chance. It deserves it. Thanks to Abbi Glines who made us love Grant again as much as we did.

Review: Take a Chance by Abbi Glines via Goodreads

Take A ChanceTake A Chance by Abbi Glines

3,5-Give it a chance- Stars

I think this is the nutshell of my feelings:

Grant...In Too Far Series, I really liked him. But in this book I am not so sure about this. I tried to understand him, I really did. But...Argghh!!

Grant Carter is sweet, charming, good-looking. He can have anyone he wants with just a crook of his finger. But when he saw Harlow...He wanted her.

After Grant realizes that Harlow is the only girl who can make him fall in love...He snapped. He ran.
I have never thought of Grant as coward but this is what he is. He is afraid of loving someone and then losing them... Please, just please!!!

I wanted to shout at him "C'mon, man up dude!"
I dont know it just seems silly to me. Luckily, he heard me and did that.

This picture is summary of Grant's feelings:
description

The worst part of the book was Nan! I liked a lot of things about this book but Nan was making me reconsider the whole book. I just dont like that girl.

Harlow...I liked her kindness, her understanding. She wasnt selfish and she didnt cause so much drama...

One of the things that I liked about this book is it was hot. Harlow wasnt experienced but the last "slap" moment...I liked that a lot ;)

But there was a thing about this book that I loved the most. And probably that was the reason I gave 4 stars as rating...It was Kiro...

In the Too Far Series I didnt like Kiro. At all. But then, I saw him in this book and that scene (you probably can guess which scene I mean) brought me to tears. And that helped me to understand his realtionship with Harlow better.

The last part of the book was cliffhanger as usual. My heart hurt for Harlow. Cause I know how she felt. Literally. I know how her situation effects everything. I was there and I still am. So I think that part was also one of the parts I loved.

That wasnt the favorite book of mine in Rosemarry Series but I liked it anyway

I love Abbi Glines' books so much. Really. It is official now.

Well...I don't know if I can review this book without tears. That end?! My heart is broken now. I know why it had to be like this and yeah, I believe everything happens for a reason in life...But...Agghhh! *sigh*

Okay, lets talk about this book...

Wodds...He is perfect. Really. I don't see any imperfection about this man.

description

As a person who falls in love with fictional heroes, he is totally what I dream of. He is sexy as hell, understanding, passionate, determined, sweet, caring...Also, he has dirty mouth what makes you squirm. (in a good way)

Della Sloane...My sweet, poor Della. I really love this girl and am so sorry for her. The life she had suffered, the things she'd been through...It broke my heart.

description

She was afraid for her, she was afraid to be a burden for him. She was totally insecure. And it was all because of nothing...

I loved her reunion with Neil and Glinda. It was emotional and sweet at the same time.

And after all good things...That overwhelming moment...
I was listenning that part at night, before I went to sleep. And I tried to fight the urge to cry like a baby. I could feel that pain...
This morning I woke up like this:

Perfection Series were my favorite of Rosemary Beach books. Eventhough I didnt read the others yet, I feel like this statement is true.

Abbi Glines knows how to make you feel something, anything...Like love, pain or life...

I love this book. A lot!

After Too Far Series I love reading Abbi Glines, her heroes and heroins. And this book didnt disappoint me. It was perfect.
In Too Far Series I loved Woods Carrington so much. And in this book I think I fell in love with him. He is too hot for sure but there is more than that. Much more...

Della Sloan...She had really strange and traumatic childhood. She grew up with her mother who has mental issues. She couldnt experience life. She was alone but her bff Braden. And then, she lost her mother...

Della's story touched my heart. Especially her self-doubt and her fears.

This wasn't just an erotic romance. It was also really emotional one. I liked to listen every second of it. And I loved listenning both povs in the book. It gave me a lot to think about.

Woods and Della were two people who have issues about their life. They may not be perfect but their love was. And when they were together their imperfections make them perfect.

Another thing about this book is...It was hot. Like really, really hot. And I was like:

And that end? Abbi Glines made it again. She gave something to be curious about. Not just curious but also...broken.
I cannot wait to read second book of Della and Woods.
