Review: The Lessons by Elizabeth Brown via Netgalley

The Lessons (Off-Limits, #1)The Lessons by Elizabeth Brown
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4- Teach me how, Doc- Stars!

When I saw this book was about Sex Surrogates...Well, I needed to read it. Cause I knew it would be fun and hot. I wasn't wrong.

description

Natalie Reese likes everything in order. She wants her life like she'd planned. But life is a tricky bitch who likes to play with people's plans.

Natalie is far behind her plan. Because eventhough she is thirty, she is still virgin. And she decided to take control of her life.

She moves from New York to San Francisco. She is in new city with a new job and determined to succeed on her Plan. But first she needs to fix "the problem", her virginity. She cannot even date anyone because of this "problem". Even with the hot guy from library: Ryan Andrews.

To fix her situation she decides to have a sex surrogate and that sex surrogate of her happens to be the hot Ryan Andrews...

"Good or bad?"

description

Ryan and Natalie are so good together. They are funny and hot. Their chemistry is palpable. But they need to be professional together. They need to keep everything clinical. It is not that easy, though.

Ryan Andrews has troubled past and fucked-up family. He is good at keeping his emotions under control and keeping it all professional. But with Natalie...It is easier said than done.

"I'd never wanted something, someone, so much in my life. I'm not ever going to make that mistake again. You make me so happy; you make me laugh."

Natalie is smart, successful in business but alone even she is good-looking. She is inexperienced but eager at the same time. She cuss a lot one minute the other she doesn't like to hear word "breast".

description

Ryan and Natalie have so much in common. From their taste in the music to their taste in the pizza. They also familiar to the family drama or lack of it.

They were hilarious together. When I read them, I couldnt erase the smile on my face. Especially, Natalie's inner voice. Her mind works really...umm, fun. Do you need some examples?

"Hi, just me. Just thinking about that thing you did. You know, your lips on my v"
"Hey Andrews, thanks for the O."
"Glad to know you're a Leo. Wanna roar in my vagina?"

Got the picture? No? Okay, here you go, then...

Dear God, please don't let me pass out.
I started to imagine the set of headlines:
UnSexed Virgin Dies En Route To Her Deflowering
"We were so close" says surrogate

Is it enough? Good...Now, where were we?

Oh, right...I also love their relationship changes from professional to friend and than more. To be honest, I am not sure if they were ever professional but atleast they were trying to be.

description

Beside from Ryan and Natalie...I like friends of Ryan even they were came to the story a few times.
While I was reading book, I didnt like Lisa or Paulina from the first moment of the book. And I wasnt so sure about Brad, either. I still cannot decide whether I like him. But there is one person I like except Ryan and Natalie and it is Josh. He was so cute. I really like him.

The Lessons gives you what it promised: Hot scenes with humor, a little drama and a good read. It was a hot snack for fun and a light read.
If you want to read something light and something make you smile dont hesitate to choose this book.

Final Note: I can totally have a Ryan "Doc" Andrews. He is a total babe!!

When this happens, Pax is ready to fight what he wants. Even if it means trouble...

"How do I keep you here?"
"How do I stay?"

description

This book has a lot of character developments a good story line and strong characters. Also this book touches a few important things about life.

There is two things I love the most about this book...

One of them is Down Syndrome. There was a character in the book I love so much who has Down Syndrome. This book let people know that Down Syndrome doesnt mean the person must be limited. People who has Down can live their life however they want, just like everyone else. Down doesnt take person's freedom, people do that.

Another thing about this book is...Rape. Falling Hard shows how a victim can doubt herself and how others can judge them. How people can be so cruel.
Rape is rape(I am not talking about consensual kink). No matter what the victim wears, no matter how drunk she is...No means NO.

People will make excuses, they will judge the victim. But that means nothing. Everyone has freedom to wear what they want. That doesnt mean she is looking for sex. If she says NO...Well, this is NO. Back off!

I wasnt expecting to like Falling Hard that much but I did. It wasnt just a romance novel, it wasnt just about second chances. It was so much more than that.

The chemistry between Gemma and Pax is so good. They are so sweet and fun together. But also they are so hot. The deep understanding between them is like a bonfire. Pax is one of those heroes who is sweet, charming, understanding, hot and dirty at the same time. But aside from all of that he is wise. In a gorgeous way ;)

"You're going to make mistakes, sweetheart. You're going to hurt again. If you're alive, it's guaranteed."

I love second chance romances and when it mixes with a good storyline and some good messages...Well, I love this book.

Review: Drawn Through You by Sarina Rhoads via Netgalley

Drawn Through YouDrawn Through You by Sarina Rhoads
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4- Lets turn the tables- Stars

description

What if the brooding billionaire wore pencil skirts and Louboutins? What if the impressionable intern was a small-town furniture maker with boyish charm?

This description demands my attention when I first saw this book.

description

This book reminds me "dont stop believin'" song. I think just because the small town and city theme.

Cole Jacobson is the small town boy who is happy being one. He doesnt feel the need to go to the big city. But after his father died, family business falters. So he has to accept his Uncle's offer and works for his company: Jacobson and Wright.

But for the record: His uncle Robert is the total A-hole.

He threates Cole and tries to use him for get rid of his job partner: Shaun Wright.

Shaun Wright is brilliant, talented, beautiful woman. She dates with both genre. But when she first saw Cole Jacobson she feels the attraction.

Cole and Shaun are so good together. I like their chemistry, their understanding for each other. They are both forced to do something they didnt truly want.

Shaun loves control but when she is with Cole she is willing to give up control to him.

description

Drawn Through You makes a different from usual billionaire books. In this book woman has the power, money and name. In this book woman is the player who dates so many people, male and female.
Drawn Through You is fun, hot and quick read. There isnt so much drama. It is light and more like a movie.

Eventhough there is some things I wanted to be different, I still like reading this book.

Review: Sexy by J. A. Huss via Goodreads

SexySexy by J.A. Huss
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4- Sexy is inside Stars

description

This was the first book I have read by J.A. Huss. I've heard that this is different than her general writing but I wanted to start with this one and it was fun to read.

First of all, when I have started to read this book I feel like I am reading ebook version of Magic Mike. Because the story is about Fletcher Novak who is a male stripper. So I could picture scenes in my head so clearly. The only difference is my Fletcher was Channing Tatum (Why am I so obsessed with this guy?!)

Fletcher spots Tiffy when he was on the stage. He wanted her to be his girl for the night. But Tiffy is rich, collected and determined. But somehow insecure.

description

Fletcher wants Tiffy.
Tiffy wants Fletcher to get fired.
But Tiffy's plan doesnt work the way she wanted.Because Flether is smart enough to give them a reason to keep him for making their job bigger. So she needs to make a deal with Fletcher. Because Tiffy wants to be sexy and she wants her crush to realise her as a woman not as a sister.
Fletcher uses this opportunity to get what he wants...

description

This story is fun and entertaining but it has also have some messages. Because we cannot judge people with our little knowledge. The truth can be different from what is seen. And judging a person without really knowing him/her...Not wise...
Finally...Dont forget: Sexy is on the inside!

And Sexy doesnt sell, it's for sale...

Review: Tangled by Emma Chase via Goodreads

Tangled (Tangled, #1)Tangled by Emma Chase
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5- Drew is gift from the God Stars

I cant believe myself that I have waited this much to start this book, really. This sweetie was waiting for me for a few months in my ebook-reader. Can you believe that? Yeah, I know...What a waste of time...

When I first saw this book I thought it would be an average book. But I was wrong...So, so wrong.

I was surprised how much I love this book. It was a whole package. It was sweet, hot, funny, hilarious, intelligent, well-written and different.

Tangled is the first book I have read from male POV. (Grey, Walking Disaster etc aren't count for me. Because I knew the real story from female POV) And this is a huge risk. I mean the author is a female and it could be disaster to write with male POV. But it isn't a disaster. It is PERFECT.

Let's see what was Tangled about...

description

Drew Evans has flu. We met him like that at the first page of the book...But who is Drew Evans?

Drew Evans...I-banker, billionaire, intelligent, cocky, sweet, hot, fun, handsome...*fanning myself*
Do you need anymore than that? Yeah, I think so.
Drew Evans thinks that he is a gift to women from above. Dont you agree?

"Half the women in this city would give their left tit to have me where I am right now."

Katherine -Everyone calls me Kate- Brooks...intelligent, sweet, fun, beautiful, bussiness woman...See, what I am trying to do here? Yep. They are alike.

description

Kate is not available cause she is engaged with her ten-years-something boyfriend. She is loyal, atleast she tries to be. But time changes everything, dont you think?

The first night Kate and Drew saw each other it was there. The tension, the undeniable truth. They were it.

In Tangled, Kate and Drew hated each other, argued with each other but no matter what lust, passion were there.

description

Drew and Kate's story may be clishe if you just think the storyline. But while you are reading it, it is everything but clishe. Dialogues were not just funny but smart at the same time.

And I wanna mention one more person in the book: Mackenzie...Oh My...How cute she is! And her dialogues with Uncle Drew?! She may be the luckiest kid. Reading Drew with Mackenzie...Now, I get it why it was a big deal seeing men and kids together.

“Mackenzie raises her hand proudly. “I have a bagina.”
I smirk. “Yes, you do sweetheart. And someday, it’s gonna help you rule the world.”

I wont say long...I will just say that If you are the one who waste time to start this book go ahead. Dont hesitate. This is really, really good.
