Snow's Review: Where the Sun Hides by Bethany-Kris via Goodreads

Where the Sun Hides (Seasons of Betrayal, #1)Where the Sun Hides by Bethany-Kris
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4 "fight for me" stars

When a meeting of two nemezises, Russian bratva and Italian famiglia were the ultimate enemies, different poles to the same rule, to the same crime, to the same code of a lifestyle – mafia, brought in conntact two little souls yet unaware of the mortal animosity of mafia life, nobody suspected the outcome unfavorable for them both. They were just cover up pawns in a supressing game of rivalry. And were never supossed to meet again.

Violet Gallucci - an Italian mafia's principessa, protected, shelterred BUT wanted to live out, to breathe, to be wild and shake off her father smoldering protective chains…so she triggered the wheel of faith…cause fortune was way off charts when the tricky destiny brought them back together again…

Kazimir „Kaz“ Markovic
He was far more than what everyone around her always said.
Russian. Savage. Scum.
There was a great deal more to the man behind the last name and the heritage he came from.
Just like her.

What meant to be a hook-up, a one try out of wild passion,
“I want your mouth, and your fingers, and your tongue. I want yout to eat me. I want to come.“
„Now..that's what I wanted.“

turned into the inner fight in which they both failed miserably…
“Hooking up is a one-time thing. When you start seeking the same person out to fuck again, it no longer falls into that category.“

there was no backing away from admitting of what they are to each other inspite the danger…
“..You're going to keep coming back here. I'm going to keep letting you. And that makes us something…

until they were forced apart.

This was another great work by the talent writing of Bethany-Kris, this time teamed up with London Miller bringing us the tale of forbidden love and the odd they have to fight against to keep it alive.

For me it was a bit slower in the beginning where I didnt quite feel connected to the charachters but when the passion stirred between them and the story picked up in pace and action and angst and danger…

it brought all in the mix to have me expectant for more…
